Position Overview:
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping. This role leads warehouse associates and warehouse leads to ensure efficient workflows, accurate inventory control, and timely delivery of customer orders.
The Warehouse Supervisor drives operational performance through strong leadership, process discipline, and continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with company safety standards and quality requirements. This individual partners closely with other departments including customer service, fabrication, engineering services, and sales to support overall operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping activities.
- Lead warehouse associate activities to ensure productivity, engagement and accountability.
- Monitor operational performance and ensure shipping deadlines and customer commitments are met.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, inventory audits, and discrepancy resolution.
- Ensure proper use of warehouse systems including ERP or warehouse management platforms.
- Enforce safety policies and ensure safe material handling practices throughout the warehouse.
- Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and adherence to 5S and operational standards.
- Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and workload planning to meet operational needs.
- Support onboarding and training of new warehouse associates.
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse layout, workflow efficiency, and operational processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational or customer-related issues.
Experience Requirements:
Education:
- High School diploma or GED required.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 – 7 years of warehouse, distribution, or material handling experience.
- 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or team leadership role preferred.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP platforms.
- Experience managing inventory control processes including cycle counts and audits.
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification required.

Salary Range:
$34.00 - $38.00 hour
